WORKSHOPS

SESSION 1

BE AN ENERGETIC LEADER

This interactive training is designed to help you lead conversations around important issues in your community. We’ll specifically talk about energy and the environment in California and model how you can lead your community through these changes. Not only will you walk away with HOPE’s new Energy Policy Toolkit, you will gain confidence in leading the charge on tough conversations and complex issues.

SESSION 2

TURN YOUR IDEA TO REALITY: MICROBUSINESS EDITION

Latina-owned businesses in California have doubled in recent years, yet the majority of Latina firms are microbusinesses making $50,000 or less with no employees. Plus, Latina business revenues remain lower than the average woman-owned firm. Hear from a Latina small business owner and a panel of experts about the steps that you can take to fund or grow your business.

Speakers vary by location. Check your location specific link above for more info.

SESSION 3

GET NOTICED AND PROMOTED

To make it to the next level of your career, you have to do more than just log hours and do good work. Discover what it really takes to get promoted. It’s not enough to wish you had a better job or made more money… you need the action steps to get there. In this workshop you’ll learn key strategies you can implement right now to accelerate your career growth.
