This session will give you a quick overview of HOPE’s latest Economic Status of Latinas Report and what the data says

SESSION 2: “LEADING DURING A PANDEMIC: SERVING ON BOARDS & COMMISSIONS”
Energy issues are significant to California, yet less than 3% of various energy board positions are held by Latinas. In this session you will hear from appointing authorities about the oversight responsibilities and decision-making power you hold by serving on energy boards, commissions and/or committees. Learn about your options for serving to make a difference in your community. Hear about alternatives for influencing decision-makers in your diverse community and the steps that you can take to advocate for policy changes, budgets, or resolutions.
